The monastery is constructing a new two-storey RCC building at Lama Camp, Bylakuppe, to provide a dignified residence for elderly Geshes and a quiet space for monks to undertake meditation and retreat. The building comprises 13 self-contained rooms per floor, each with a bedroom (approx. 13'6" × 11'9"), attached bathroom, and kitchenette, connected by wide 8-foot passages with lift and staircase access.
Construction is being carried out under a lump-sum contract (₹1,650 per sqft, material included) by a local contractor in Kushalnagar, with quality materials specified throughout — TMT steel reinforcement, ACC cement, vitrified tile flooring, UPVC windows, and branded fittings.
The plot at Lama Camp has been cleared and is ready for construction to begin — set among the existing monastery residences at Bylakuppe.
